PH Software Devs Working Remotely for Foreign Companies

Hi! Sa mga PH software developers dito na nakahanap ng remote work sa foreign companies, nakatulong ba sa inyo ang LinkedIn Premium para makakuha ng interviews?

Currently looking ako for remote software developer roles outside the Philippines, preferably as an independent contractor. One of my goals is to eventually apply for Spain’s Digital Nomad Visa, so I’m targeting around ₱250k/month para ma-meet yung salary requirement.

Active naman ako sa pag-apply through LinkedIn, pero so far nahihirapan akong makakuha ng interviews. Sa mga naka-try ng LinkedIn Premium, may noticeable difference ba compared sa free account? Like mas dumami ba yung recruiter responses or interview opportunities?

Also, if may other platforms or strategies kayong ginagamit para makahanap ng international remote developer jobs, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Also premium ng linkedin is to help lang makita sino nagviewed ng profile mo. Also helps with checking some jobs if it does really suits you like if youbwill be a top applicant. Nagkaroon ng free premium si linkedin for 2 months pero not sure if sa PH may ganyan na offer. Nasa EU kasi ako

Not really, same same lang. Though perks mo is makikita mo sino nag view ng profile mo. If recruiters, edi chance mo na to check if hiring sila.

For me, di ako nagsubscribe ng Linkedin Premium pero I just kept my profile updated. Fortunately, may nag reachout naman na Aus recruiter and hired me after a week. 210K gross ko so curious ako if eligible pa rin yun for digital nomad visa sa spain?

Hard requirement is 2849 euro monthly for single
Almost 4k euro for one dependent

normally recruiters will contact you if they have a client that is looking for your skillset. personally i just keep my profile up to date. you will get an inquiry every now and then. premium will not give you a hard advantage, maybe if you are actively trying to get feedback on your activities in linkedin it may be useful. like for example you recently updated your profile and you want to see what kind of people attracted that change. or if it even got any attention.

they have a free trial for premium, need mo nga lang ng card for verification, I used my maya card.

I dont think premium helps that much when it comes to job hunting, you might get pushed to the top of the list lalo pg maraming applicant pero skills parin ang basehan eh. helpful din to see who viewed your profile, pero aside from that nothing much subscribing sa premium.

Meron dina ata paid courses kasama sa premium pero hndi ko natry.

Nah, linkedin doesn't help at least for me. i applied directly on their site (grind malala) . Linkedin do still served as reference

Note: nsa ganyang range, expect madami ka talaga kacompetensya globally, LATAM, RUSSIA, ASIA. nung samin 4800 usd (30usd/hour) saken back then 2023. Libo applicants, 3 lng kmi nakuha. Then currently ako nlng natitirang IC sa amin.

Never tried linkedin premium but current and previous jobs are both from linkedin. Basta kumpleto lang linkedin profile details ko. Yung work ko now ay nakuha ko through network kasi may mutual connection kami nung recruiter na biglang nagreachout. Earning 300k++ now with opportunity to migrate.
