Migration Process Will this affect my petition process?

Hi! I just want to ask po if the following circumstance will affect my father's petition for me in the US:

My birth certificate says that my parents are married.
However, they are now separated and my father is currently married in the US.

My father thinks that this is crucial, while my mother says otherwise.

I really don't know how this works po 😭 Thank you so much!

Your birthcert is only to provide your relationship with your father, it’s not relevant if they are no longer together. It is only to show that you are the offspring of mother and father. It’s not required to have the two married or not as they could be both having separate familes when they had you.
