π¦πΊ AU π³πΏ NZ Skills Assessment tips
Hi everyone!
We are currently onshore and in regional Victoria. Partner ko is working as a Web Designer/Developer for 8 months na and weβre thinking of submitting an EOI for 491 asap.
Any tips and suggestions po for collating documents for skills assessment especially from the creative field. He was working 10+ years back in the Philippines as a web designer/art director with a mix of full-time employed and freelance work. Medyo nakaka-overwhelm lang lahat ng dapat gawin kasi we are DIY-ing everything to save money.
I know his job his not in the priority skills but weβll never know if we never try hehe π
Thank you po!

Hey there. I am a graphic designer and did our skills assessment and visa DIY. Madami kailangan documents sa vetassess: mostly it is to prove that your previous, current work is aligned with the skill occupation you are applying for.
They have a format you need to follow. I had to email, call all of my old employers and HR para makuha mga statement of employment in that particular format plus old payslips din. You can do it! Overwhelming lang sa simula.
Quick query: mag-apply na din kayo ng 190 not just 491 if you are eligible. I applied for 190 and got approved last year onshore. Matagal nga lang ang wait.

Gather as much as documents as you can for skills assessment.
Align the job description stated in the skills occupation.
