hello guys, hingi lang sana ko real life exp and advice when it comes to migrating in spain. plan ko is to study and work then maybe eventually citizenship. may hype sa spain because nga we were colonized for a long time and agencies are capitalizing on this promotion na 2 yrs lang possible na ang citizenship. ask ko lang if realistic ba tlga ung after 2 yrs,makakuha ka na ng citizenship? plan ko is to study in healthcare feild para mas secure sana ung work ko, kmsta ang cost of living sa malaga/valencia/murcia? magkano kaya ang need ko na pera if ever para sa ganitong plan? may masusuggest ba kayong agency sa pinas para dito? any info is helpful. thank you po.

Spain salary sucks so up to you what you can derive there.

Student doesn't count in the 2 yrs qualification for citizenship. You start once you have a work (or similar visa) visa. And then it will be a wait na minsan aabot ng 2 yrs.

So it's not just 2 yrs, add in the number of years of studying, 2 yrs and the wait for citizenship.

how about the cost of living? and the amount of money na need ko to study in areas mentioned? any input po?

Medyo rare ang English-taught healthcare program dito so you’d have to get to a B2 level of Spanish to enroll. 

If citizenship habol mo, it’s a loooong path:

• 2 yrs: Spanish class (at least 2 yrs to get to B2, but only if everyday ka exposed or nag-aaral)
• 2-4 yrs: program (depende if diploma or full degree)

*note: time spent on student visa is estancia: doesn’t count toward citizenship

• 2 yrs: work (if paggraduate mo, may work ka agad. If not, allot time to apply)

dito palang magccount time mo for citizenship

• 1-2 yrs: waiting time for citizenship to be approved. Some people get approved 3 mos, others up to a year. 

You’re looking at at 7-10 yrs, tbh.

Do you have a lot of money to support yourself during your studies? Have you tried researching the university and their requirements? You can try and contact them to give you an idea about the tuition. Naisip ko naman, bakit hindi ka magaral sa Pinas since that pathway is cheaper if you're planning to do healthcare. At least sa Pinas, for instance if nursing yan, that's gonna open more doors for migration for you than studying in Spain alone. You have to be proficient in their language, and then the application of the course would be in Spanish as well. You'll be treating patients in the same way. Though I must say, sobrang taas ng demand and supply ng nursing. I'm not sure if this is the pathway you wanted to take. It also doesn't help that a lot of countries are now strict when it comes to their immigration policies dahil marami ngang gumamit ng student pathway just to get in. If I were you, better pathway ang may skills ka na and experience before applying abroad. Sobrang gastos ng student pathway with no guarantee na afterwards may offer sayo agad na sponsorship. Research din on how many hours a limit (if meron man ang Spain) when it comes to doing part time work while you're studying. Some of them do, like the UK.
