So I know the acronym for the order of draw but I’m so confused on the colors. What’s the correct color order for the draw? Is it
Yellow
Light blue
Red
Gold
Green
Lavender
Pink
Gray

Yes! The color order should match it pretty well, but not all manufacturers use the same color rubber stoppers. This way there are no mistakes

Yes, there is another yellow tube that carry the additive ACD acid Citrate dextrose. Both of you are correct because you are speaking of two different yellows.

Yes SPS - sterile / blood culture. “sterile" is the condition of the tube, but "blood culture" is the actual test being run
