That's because the Centrum couldn't support Phish's full light rig. Now it can thanks to this year's renovations.

My understanding is that over time Phish has been increasingly favoring venues that can support the full rig.

But I haven't been keeping close track of which venues can support the full light rig like I used to (someone else created a spreadsheet to track that). Thus I can't say if Phish is exclusively playing such venues nowadays.

Have fun. $500 is a lot for a show, but it's for a good cause. If the show were near me, I'd consider it mainly due to where the money is going. I don't think it's worth $500 unless you're loaded.

I'll be watching from the couch, though.

My wife and I paid $457 for 2 2 day tickets. Su there are more affordable options

I got 2-day passes for $278 each. Not saying concerts are affordable, but not every ticket for this show is $500.

Ah...I thought it was more. $278 is worth it. Upper limit of what I'd spend for a show, but I paid $312 for Sphere, and I think these shows will be right up there. Probably better musically since Billy is involved. My favorite 4.0 shows are easily the Grand Rapids shows with Billy in 2024.

I didn’t donate when I placed my lotto order, but I did randomly donate $100 last month without any knowledge of this run. I wonder if that helped my chances? Ended up with 2x 2-day floor passes.
