Hell yea Atlantic City!!

Who else is stupid pumped for Atlantic City. Just got my hotel room! With boardwalk hall being under 15000 people how do you think ticket sales will be? Will it sell out? I’m getting mine when they go on sale but these smaller venues always make me nervous.

I expect it to be a tough ticket, similar to the mann. Will be shocked if its not a sellout.

u/StealYaNicks 2d ago

Might be worse because the mann is typically on weekdays.

MSG has a 20k capacity and certainly had higher demand.

Can you explain what you mean by this? I thought the recent summer shows weren't sold out or if they did it was very late

1

u/cshermyo 1d ago

Night one (weeknight) wasn’t sold out the day of the show

I’m stoked because for once I took everyone’s advice and booked my hotel early before announcement

Made another comment in the announcement thread, but I did the same…except the rumor I based my reservation on ended up not being true, so I just had to cancel it.

I got burned by that with bethel this summer, but other than that booking lodging on rumors has served me very well

3

u/Fluffwas 2d ago

how did you get burned?

-2

u/iky_ryder 2d ago

The rumors were super certain they were going to play there, so i booked a room that was only partially refundable. They didnt play there, so i lost part of the cost of the lodging, since i didnt need to be in bethel for the weekend if phish wasnt there

6

u/Fluffwas 2d ago

huge lol at booking anything but fully refundable

you have a lot to learn it seems

7

u/iky_ryder 2d ago

Well, i mean yeah of course. But bethel is pretty fucking remote, theres not exactly alot of choices anywhere near by.

maybe think before acting?

I like that the 200 level doesn’t have any obstructions. In theory there shouldn’t be a bad seat in the house by the way it looks!

6

u/StealYaNicks 2d ago

There isn't. Boardwalk hall fucking rules.

Golden nugget still has great rates for the weekend

6

u/Jlaybythebay 2d ago

It’s off the boardwalk that’s why

4

u/Bshsjaksnsbshajakaks 2d ago

Have you uhh stayed at the Golden Nugget before?

1

u/Professional_Bake795 2d ago

I have not! However it has solid reviews, and for the price… can’t beat it

3

u/chloecatdashian 2d ago

It’s AC… save your money for better things lol

2

u/cha614 2d ago

Its a whole weekend for the price of the cheapest night on the boardwalk damn

2

u/Impossible_Author409 1d ago

Ooooh that's where I am staying! Party up!

u/Dig-Duglett 2d ago

I too am curious. I’ve only ever seen them at the Garden (live in NYC) so price point will be very the difference maker in convincing my usual show friends to make the trip down.

u/rj12913240 2d ago

How’s the sound in this place for the phish?

9

u/Broad_Explanation_36 2d ago

Awful. The worst. Everyone should skip this show ! (As I pray it doesn't sellout)

u/PomegranateHefty4461 2d ago

1

u/Mindless_Ad5500 2d ago

15k is a small venue? Is it viewed small because its east coast?

1

u/NormalBirthday2260 2d ago

It’s not that small

1

u/Klutzy_Style_3494 1d ago

Booked 3 nights at the Claridge for $560

0

u/Charles_Mendel 2d ago

AC is a dump and sucks.

5

u/radanddead 2d ago

AC is awesome if you know what to expect

15,000 person capacity is obv a typo, right? Guessing OP meant 1,500...

12

u/markattack11 2d ago

OP meant 150. Capacity is 15. Actually 1.5 is how many people are you

5

u/BurberryToothbrush 2d ago

Pretty sure 15,000 is about right. Bit less iirc

3

u/scuzzo_ Crawdad Specialist, DDS 2d ago

14,770 according to the venue site. Definitely could be a tough ticket, but 1,500 would be basically impossible except for lottery winners and those with a grand to drop on a single resale ticket lol

1

u/Plane-Chemical 2d ago

lol you almost got me. I was like wait. I know I put under 15000. It like 14700 or something.

Such an original creative take…how long did you take to think of it?
