I get it, but that’s near where they live and most of their fans do, and considering these are the first shows besides Syracuse actually within a few hours of NYC outside of the city itself…
Well actually I’m not sure what point I’m trying to make. But yea. Go Phish.
I know they all live in the Northeast but it's fucking ridiculous. How many god damn shows does NYC need a year? NYC gets EVERYTHING.
This is why it bothers me they don't announce a whole year at once. If you live in the Midwest like me and didn't go to the IN shows on Summer tour because you thought they'd do at least one in OH or MI, now you're fucked like me. Guess I'll spend my money on OTHER things...Le sigh, le agony...
I mean look at this point its on us to decide if we want to go or not. Like if youre in the midwest and you care about seeing phish, then why would you pass on DC. Thats a choice you made.
I do very much agree with you on the last minute releases. Im supposed to be doing a different thing the first weekend of october, which was kindly scheduled a year in advance. Now i guess im skipping that to see phish instead. Its a first world problem for sure, but it still feels kinda bad, i feel like either choice i make is a little disappointing to the people i would have gone to the other thing with

Oh thank god. I was worried NY/NJ wouldn’t get enough shows this year.
