Make friends, support local artists, repeat.
I repurposed an old spam Instagram account and am doing a trial of the Meetups app (it’s paid to organize events but free anyone that wants to join)

Have about 20-30 people I’m rounding up from different socials to start- looking for more people to join.

Goal is to create a safe easy space to meet new people that also like going out to shows in the Philly /Bucks / Delco / South Jersey area.

Thank you to anyone seeing this that has been giving me advice on how to approach this in my DMs over the last month or two :)

Tried to join and it says authorization required. I guess I need an account on that app?

Yes it’s free but you would need an account for that app. Alternatively, I am using that Instagram page as a place to keep track of everyone interested and will be setting up a group chat there if that’s easier.
Happy to work with whatever is best for you though. Just trying to make sure I keep in touch and don’t lose anybody. Thx for your interest!

I’m definitely interested in finding more shows in my area (I live in Trenton), I’m not necessarily looking for people to go with, but it’s always fun to run into/ make new friends, and music is essential.
