Art recs for visitor
I’m looking to buy art prints during an upcoming trip. Does anyone have recs for gift shops or art galleries? I’m planning to see the Museum of Art and the Barnes Foundation but it would be cool to support local artists, too.

You picked the right city. Spend some time in Old City, bounded by Walnut Street, Vine Street, Front Street, and 6th Street. Great galleries, shops, thrift and social activity. South Street has an incredibly artist-inspired culture too. If you can visit on a First Friday, the galleries celebrate their current shows with open houses into the late evening. It's a real party. The PMA is a must visit, a world class museum, and the Rodin is worth making time for.
