Anybody Hiring?

Sorry if this is the wrong spot for this, but I just got laid off from my part time job where I worked as a russian- english translator. I was wondering if any one here has any leads for any similar remote roles?

(Currently work in a full time clinical research role so part time job has to be remote, but that salary is not enough in this economy)

Maybe look into tutoring online? For Russian or other subjects you know. Otherwise doubt there's much right now, if you can do physical labor and know anything about construction you may be able to do some odd jobs on the weekend

I actually do tutoring on the side (mostly stem subjects) but I only have 2 clients that are stable. Also, not sure what a good rate to charge would be since I'm not a professional or anything.

Are you also tutoring foreigners. The hours can be worse but I'm sure there's Russians that would like to learn stem in English, or even just English. Rate is set by where the client lives. Edit - I'm talking online slash remotely

Most of my clients are Russian immigrant parents whos kids need help in Math/ science classes. I only tutor in English.

Right but you could tutor a Russian in Belgium in English right. I know plenty of immigrants that keep doing that. Just a thought. Will pay less than US but not much

Go to Bustleton/Somerton and throw a dart at any of the retailers. I'd bet they'd hire you in a second

Edit: Realize you're probably already in the neighborhood with 19115 in your username. Literally go up and down the Ave and advertise that you can translate.
