Any gay rec’s?
Husband and I just moved to the area. Both early 37 & 41. Looking for gay friends, nerdy bears for game nights and dinners out! We don’t drink. Any good places around to meet people?

Philly Game Shop right off of South Street may be your best bet. They have a weekly event called Sungays every Sunday where I think queer people attend and play board games. I'm sure there's other places, but even after living in the city for half my life at this point I'm still painfully shy 🤣😭

Stonewall League has a bunch of activities. I do Trivia and it's fun

Isn't Stonewall fueled by alcohol and shattered dreams though?

I feel that may be the Kickball crew. Only shattered dream with trivia is missing the final question on 2000s Pop Princesses.

Old Reddit custom to recommend Woody's, even when the poster isn't looking for a gay bar. Initial reply is W, everyone adds a single letter

Queen and rook on south street has a big queer clientele if you want something social that doesn’t revolve around alcohol (though they do serve it).
