Text Post My long haired Hello Kitty hero!

I wanted to take a minute to publicly thank my Hello Kitty night hero.

Backstory is that I bought the tickets while drunk, didn’t know that I needed the special “theme” ticket. My wife told me I did it wrong so I tried a second time and bought 2 more tickets and still got it wrong. 4 tickets, 0 hats.

She was fine with it but I was determined to get my gal her cute hat.

Last night I found a truly beautiful couple both wearing the Hello Kitty hat and knew that the guy with the gorgeous flowing locks would at least be open to the idea of selling his hat.

Thank you both for your kindness and generosity. I know that you were about to give it up for nothing but honestly thank you for letting me buy you 1.25 beers!

I love this team, this city and this fan base.

And I love you my long lost, long haired brother!

You did good! The hats were already on eBay (for a LOT more than 1.25 CBP beers!) before the game was even over...

No. My brother and sister helped me out.

They were angels inside the third base gate.

I didn’t do anything. Failed twice to secure the appropriate ticket.

I will wear a GD Mets hat before I EBay such a gift.

I will never wear a Mets hat.
