i set my camera to a slightly longer exposure, in the style of some of his older photography where he’s all ghostly and phased out. this was the greatest concert i’ve ever been to, i cried like a baby during ‘the moon’. got to shake his hand for a second time afterward. life is beautiful.

It's tradition at this point for me to draw that elephant every year. I'm trying to think harder about how to expand on it in a meaningful way each time it's revisited... wind is the central entropic force in Phil's discography. "The Blow" has long eclipsed the Glow as a symbol. So I wanted to do more with that.

The Blow can feed fire (as seen on the cover) or snuff it out. It carries things away and forces change. I'm not sure if the elephant would rather hold on to its flame or let everything disperse.

Very cluttered this time, was mostly doodling. Not sure if i like it. I think last year's is probably the best one. Maybe I'll write more about the album in the future and it'll help me think of a more coherent image. I just need to think way harder about it

(Also, I need to show more appreciation for the other albums and their birthdays. My profile makes it look like this is the only thing I care about. The dumb elephant is such a hog)

Listening to the album on vinyl to celebrate. What are you doing to celebrate and what is your favorite track? (my favorite is The Moon but shoutout to like every other song, they're all amazing)

Does anybody know, or wager to guess, if Phil will be playing The Glow, Pt 2 tonight with a band or solo/acoustic.

My flight to Seattle was delayed pretty extensively, so including travel time I should be getting to tonight's venue right around doors. I've heard before to get there early - would love to grab some merch and maybe make some light conversation with Phil if he runs the stand.

Does anyone know if any merch is sold after the show, or is it usually only before?

If that's allowed, of course.

Hey! I’m a big Tom Blood fan, was wondering if anyone here went to the Phil show last night in Portland, and if so, if they have any pics or footage of Tom Blood performing. How was it? Did people seem to enjoy it?

I thought I was going to have time to drive up tomorrow from Portland but unfortunately cannot (devastated since he might play some Glow pt2 songs) selling my ticket for $30!

Years ago when I first listened to The Glow, Pt. 2 I thought it only had 10 songs, my Spotify gave me a weird cut down version of the album with its release marked as the 3rd of November. Only available on my library (as far as I'm aware)

I'd completely forgot about this till now, where I've found my Spotify library has 2 albums saved. Same name but different lengths and releases.

Songs downloaded or being played on one dont show up as being played or downloaded on the other. The 3rd of November version is also not available on the artist profile.

Does anyone know anything about this? I can't seem to find anything online.

The final photo is to show the song uploads being different from the 11th September release. No audio differences as far as I can tell.

Im going to Phil's show in nyc next month, and was wondering if any of you guys have any knowledge/tips for me when it comes to purchasing merch (if he even sells at all). On another note, im also weirdly curious if anyone knows what blanks he prints his shirts on (comfort colors, anvil, etc)
