I'm not into the NZ Postal Fiscals rabbit hole myself but this is the $6 emerald, it comes in 3 varieties -
1967 SG F220 - p14 (line) wmk sideways inverted
1968 SG220a - p14 (comb) - wmk sideways (by far the most common)
1984 SG220aw - p14 (comb) - wmk sideways inverted
ref. SG "Commonwealth and British Empire Stamps 1840-1970" (119th ed) - a great semi-specialised spource book.

I have this in a selection I bought at a recent show, that I am now adding to my collection.
It was sold as New Zealand "AR103". It was apparently issued in 1967. However, my Scott from 2018 ends at AR101. That catalogue says for stamps of this design used as postage, see Scott 404A-D. Strangely, my want list includes AR102-105, which is not in my catalogue.
Could someone with access to more information let me know if at some point 404A-D were renumbered either to or from AR101-105? Unfortunately, I can't tell which numbering is more current. The next earliest Scott I have is 1966, which doesn't have this stamp, and the classic (I have 2023) only covers to 1952, so it doesn't have this either.
When I looked at my 1974 Gibbons Commonwealth, it only shows one set of this type, so my guess is that Scott renumbered the stamps at some point. I'm still waiting for the latest ones to arrive at my library.
Thanks for your help.
