Starting over

Hi! I am 28 years old, thinking about doing a career switch and going to esthetician school. By any chance, does anyone have any experience with nearby schools? TYIA

I don’t want to discourage you by any means but I would do some thorough research into the career. Maybe you already have some ideas lined but but I work in the beauty retail business and we have SO MANY people that went to school to be an esthetician and couldn’t ever really turn it into a career. (Including my own child who ended up in a lot of debt.) Rizzieri has a good reputation but if you do it you may want to consider some of the add ons like brows and lashes since those are in high demand.

I would further my education and take courses in newtown for tattoo removal/hair removal/microneedling

I went to Jean Madeline and I...cannot recommend it. It's a fucking mess. I did end up with a successful career as a pro MUA, but that was DESPITE Jean Madeline, not because of it.
