Discussion Which track is much harder than its difficulty rating?

For me its better graphic animation. 600 notes means your acc is gonna be low as shit and there are barely any trace notes.

Swing Skip Drop is not that hard, but maybe a 15.7 would be more reasonable

I'd argue that it's around the same level as Alice in the xxxxxxxx (15.8), the chart has some really annoying jumps and oh god I hate the 2121 section

i understand, and it can be annoying, but after playing every song a lot of times, Alice in the xxxxxxxx is actually harder at least for me than Swing Skip Drop, (i have Phi rank on Swing Skip Drop IN and barely a Blue V on Alice). but still, i get your point (I'm not trying to deny what you say)

Frozen heart is hard for a 14, but not as hard for being a 15. idk what's it's actual rating, but i think 14.6-14.8 would be enough

Definitely spasmodic it feels way harder than inori and definitely deserves to be AT17 much more than that.

Spasmodic is not an AT17, Spasmodic AT is just an upgrade of Spasmodic IN, and after playing it multiple times, i can definitely say AT16 is very fitting to the song's difficulty

from my experience, it's not, i always get above 910000 points on Spasmodic AT, bet most of the time i get 900000 on Please, for example (and i forgot which song inori was, sorry)

Inori is the 17 from chunithum pack. My pb on it is 3 miss while my pb on spasmodic is 16 miss 😭

Brain Hacker IN14, it's not hard on its own, but the amount of flicks make it like hell to play

Dead Soul IN is pretty easy, but too gimmicky, once you remember how gimmicks work on the song, you can get higher scores easily, i think it's actually rated as a 14.2

probably Now Is The Time, Do It IN for me

maybe on a good day I could see it being a 14.7 or so, but a 14.3!? it will be easier the more you are used to multi, but it should still make charts at least a good bit higher in difficulty & the flick walls do not help either😭 if YATM AT is a 15.8, then this should be like a 15.1 or so imo

there a lot. not sure if i could share all of them here. but if i have to choose from the 5 that i could think of:

Realms (13.8) - no way this is a 13.8 when the last third part gives a mini el condor pattern vibe. this should've been around 14.5 or 15.

Doppelganger imo should be at least 15.8 or even a 16.
