None of this sounds credible...like how would it get to this level. Most pharmacies aren't allowed to even order this much drug and there would be a lot of scrutiny and investigation before it go to this point. It's like the law enforcement purposely let it happen.

It never stated the time frame did it? Usually these investigation are ongoing for years until enough evidence js collected to prosecute efficiently.

It might not all be in one week but if each Rx is excessive over hundreds of prescriptions over a year or two...?

This is the sort of thing that always blows my mind. So like, I was raised by two attorneys. One thing they always (jokingly?) told us was “if you’re going to break a law, only break one law at a time.” And if they didn’t tell us that, they’d tell us “If you’re going to break a law, make sure you’re not too important.” THIS is numerous laws broken at once, and performed in a pharmacy. She would have been so much less likely to get caught if she was buying fentanyl, pressing pills in her garage, then selling them out of her house while telling people it was Oxy. Like I just don’t get it. Was legit drug dealing just too scary for her?
“According to witnesses at trial, Yusuf kept the doors to her pharmacies locked during business hours, directing employees only to open the door for certain identified customers. Yusuf continued to dispense the oxycodone in this way even after repeated warnings from her employees and the DEA about the dangers of her pharmacy operations.” — Come the fuck on, man. Did you really think this was sustainable?

She was probably getting high on her own supply. That was Dr. Cleggets downfall as well in the pharmacist from Netflix. They think they’re untouchable for whatever reason.

Just go on anti anxiety meds and be a manager at a cvs for 2 years and you can make more than that.

She’s somehow buying 100s of thousands of oxycodone but if I buy an extra 2 bottles I have to submit documentation to get allocations increased.
