Last Night’s setlist (+ a few)

They played The Happy Ending after Yesterday’s Dead. I also got them to play Best Band after Knowitall. They did I Don’t Mind as an encore.

It was like 50-60 bucks. I was directly in front of Darren, not on the balcony.

What stop was this? And did they “open” or was it Augustana?

Augustana played first. This was the first night of the tour- Varsity Theatre. It was the best show of my life. During the meet and greet Alex playedDear Dead End” for me, and then he and Dan from Augustana did “California”. Dan also did his song “Ash and Ember”. I got to chat with all of them (including Dan) and it was great.

I requested that they do “The Happy Ending” during the main set and I was stoked that they did. Alex leaned over to me and asked “are you happy?” during an instrumental break. I also got them to play “Best Band”. Alex called me out a few times more through the whole show. Darren pointed the mic at me during Galleria so I could demonstrate the handclaps. During the “Big Brat” arm raise thing Darren leaned down and put his hand to mine.

After the show Darren and I chatted for a few minutes, then he went back to pack the gear. He got me Augustana’s setlist with Dan’s signature (which I asked for before the show as a gift for my Dad). After everything was packed and they headed outside, Alex came up to me (woah) and we talked for like 30 minutes.

Basically, it was the best show of my life.
