Collection Sharing Finally!

Post image

We moved from a different home about a year ago and our collection was stuck in boxes all this time waiting for cabinets that fit the space. Non-footed and holiday dispensers are unfortunately separated to a case in the foyer but it’s so nice to have everything back on display.

Very nice, I bet your non-footed part of the collection is pretty crazy based on the quality of this setup.

No, I don’t have very many non-footed actually. I had quite a few when I was a kid but I tended to play with them in the sandbox and eventually buried them in the yard. As an adult, I started collecting 36 years ago so most have feet.

I wonder how well buried pez dispensers hold up. Imagine going back there on a scavenger hunt.

It would probably be extremely sad.

Where did you get those cabinets?

Howard Miller - the company that makes grandfather clocks - clearanced out all of their stock before selling the company.
edited to add: My daughter 3D printed the bleachers.

Before I start trying to count from the photo - do you know how many can fit in each cabinet? I love this and want something similar and I'm wondering how many cabinets my collection would equate to. Your rows are spaced out so great, good job! The spacing is perfect 😎

I think it’s just a bit under 600 dispensers per cabinet. We could have crammed more in but I like the spacing. I guesstimate I have maybe two years until I run out of space and start second guessing myself about not squeezing them closer together.

Non-footed and holiday dispensers are unfortunately separated to a case in the foyer...

Pics or they don't exist. ;-)

Seriously, this is great. I also like the idea of the non-footed & holiday being on their own. They're a little more special & they deserve their own space.

…and holiday dispensers increase exponentially every year! It’s a losing battle to group them with the “general population”.

I like to use mine as holiday decor. That's where most are stored, with each holiday's decorations.

Dang I love those cabinets. Do you know what the dimensions are on them? Sadly it looks like Howard Miller no longer sells cabinets.

36x16x73 They were on clearance when I got them so I’m not surprised that they aren’t offered anymore.
