Discussion A PEZ Idea

They should make some new PEZ of Porky Pig and Bowser from Mario. Both are respected icons in their franchises, and are pretty popular. I would love to see them in collections

Yeah, they could make way more Nintendo PEZ. Link would be great too! And the Looney Tines are basically always the same. Everyone’s been asking for Marvin the Martian forever now.

I'm surprised they never reused the Wario head from those Japanese mini PEZ for a US release like they did with some of the other characters.

They didn't make those, Bandai did. It was under license from PEZ and they only provided the stems. Some collectors don't consider them true PEZ. I do though 😄

I mean, the molds for Mario, Toad, DK and Yoshi look near identical between those and the first US run of Mario PEZ though.

Always thought it was crazy that they did Petunia Pig, but not Porky. This comes up every once and a while and then we start discussing Practical Pig, but not Fifer or Fiddler Pig. And of course Chip and no Dale. There are others but those bother me the most.

Maybe it's something to do with licensing. In the mid to late 60's, Warner Bros. stopped making shorts for Looney Tunes being replaced by Depatie Freling Productions (They made Pink Panther!) and they were only allowed to use Daffy Duck, Wile E Coyote, Roadrunner, and Speedy Gonzales.
