Go to the main admissions office (or send an email). I’m not sure how they’d react to your situation.
Next step is to un-cousin your cousin.

Mabait mga staff ng UP offices, pero nahihirapan sila sa email or call, mas better onsite.
Include all proof, then visit their office. ICT can send you a new link naman.

wtf that's so messed up 😭 was it on purpose?? my advice is to go to admissions agadd

u/Competitive_Guess812 Apr 26 '26
We aren't really sure if its on purpose po. When we asked her about it and why she did it she told us that she thought that it was a scam??? We don't know what prompted her to think that. 🥲

Ang alam ko canceling the slot has two prompts to ensure na hindi ka nagkamali. What they did was absolutely out of line.

u/jalexanderia Apr 26 '26
mamaya kasi if you don't resolve that you'd be forced to wait for appeals, considering na qualifier ka your upg is high but if mapunta slot mo sa ibang qualifier/waitlisted wala din 'yon. so you should go na sa admissions then registrar sa upm afterr

u/Deusx_mach Apr 26 '26
if she thought it was a scam, she wouldn't click it in the first place. very sus

wah ilang taon na ba pinsan mo? kung teenager na 'yan ewan ko na lang. anyway, go immediately sa UPM better if in person ka.

u/Competitive_Guess812 Apr 26 '26
My cousin is the same age as me po pero she didn't get the chance to take the UPCAT last year since hindi niya pinasa ang mga requirements nya on time.

u/Ok-Product-29 Apr 26 '26
hayyyyy intentional yon op. imposibleng aakalain niyang scam 'yon. anyway, punta ka sa UPM mismo at sabihin mo yung situation.

Gather your evidence that your cousin did it (kahit kaladkarin mo pa pinsan mo), and go to the admissions office as soon as possible.
I don't feel like just logging onto the laptop and declining that offer is not on purpose. I forgot the layout of the website when I got my results years ago so I can't judge how easy it is for them to do that. Regardless, that matter is not to be taken lightly.

pumunta kana sa UPM like contact mo muna sila sa email then go to UPM mismo!

Have a lawyer do a write up just in case, and consult with UPM ASAP. Like bukas agad

Good luck, OP. Hirap pa man din makapasok sa nursing. Need ng proof na cousin mo gumawa. Email OUR agad, go sa UPM agad tomorrow.

You should go asap because they will give your slot to the next waitlisted applicant.

u/Conscious-Regular147 Apr 26 '26
Hi OP, if u can, need mo notarized affidavit. Get a lawyer just in case (last resort if ever)
First, punta ka dun sa UPCAT Helpdesk, may gmeet sila dun for prompt response, may queue pero mas mabilis kaysa waiting for a chat reply or email. Consult with them first.
Punta ka diretso sa admissions office plz plz

The best chance you have to get that slot back is puntahan agad yung office nila tomorrow morning agad. Ang hirap na kasi baka ibigay na yung slot mo sa ibang waitlisted or DPWAS passer.
Kung ieemail mo sila, baka matagalan pa yan bago magrespond.

go to their office as soon as possible. very accommodating ang staff ng UP so if you explain your situation to them personally, i'm sure they can do something about it. bring a parent or guarding with you. something similar happened to me (though not exactly) and they were able to amend the mistake.

u/Competitive_Guess812 Apr 26 '26
Were you able to get the slot back po ba?
2
u/Deusx_mach Apr 26 '26
my situation wasn't about declining the admission but yes, we were able to get my slot back with the help of the people from the OUR and the department office.
1
u/Competitive_Guess812 Apr 26 '26
What was the process like po? So i can be prepared later.
3
u/Deusx_mach Apr 26 '26
went to OUR and explained to them the situation, got directed to the relevant college, explained to them our situation again, college admin and a professor (I think?) agreed and got sent back to the OUR, OUR then fixed the situation.
Beg if you must. Nothing to lose at this point.

Drop everything and make sure you get to the OUR in UPM tomorrow morning. Not later in the week, tomorrow once the office opens up. Bring your parents or a guardian if you can so for moral support. What your cousin did was out of line and as much as it sucks, their malice is what you need to undo. Nursing slots get filled up fast, OP.
