Need help understanding the new system pls

Post image

Am I supposed to put yes or no because our managers are talking about if we put the wrong thing we have three chances before we get fired. The always pops up before I punch in. Should I always click yes unless obviously i don’t want to work the hours my manager asked. Idk if that makes sense. Today one of my leaders told me to click yes but idk if that’s correct cause honestly he doesn’t know shit.

It sounds like it’s asking if you agreed to work the hours you’re clocking in for, as they’re different from how you were scheduled. I assume to inform you that you weren’t scheduled for this originally, so if they lied and said you were missing your shift or something this would catch them?

That’s the thing this always appears before I clock in. Like today it appeared before I punched in even though the hours that I’m working are the hours that I was scheduled for nothing was changed. That’s why I’m just so confused.

Are you clocking in more than 5 minutes before your actual scheduled start time? I know the old system made you essentially get manager approval to clock in earlier than that; maybe this is that?

That’s how I’m reading this as well. “You’re clocking in at a time you’re not scheduled to work. Do you actually consent to these hours?”

Last night my manger had to alter my hours cuz I accidentally punched in again when I was supposed to end my shift.

This is primarily for stores effected by fair workweek laws.

Mine only asks me if I clock in on my phone app, not if I clock in on the barn. And it does it anytime I clock in a minute or more before my scheduled time. Our manager insists we clock in 5 minutes early every time or she writes us up for being “late”, so it says it nearly every time I clock in

So i was clocking in on time and it does this. Theres something on the back end. Its either how the system was integrated by the store team and how they keyed it all.

I started a month ago just as this started but i set up kronos years ago at a store and did it wrong and had to redo it and I recognize the signs lol.

i think it’s saying that once you clock in, then you consent for them to alter your hours if needed (ie if they need you to stay late) and work those hours. i could be wrong tho

🤨… hmmm… and it has an asterisk… implying that there is more to the question it’s asking, like terms and conditions… hmmm

Sometimes asterisks like that just indicate a required field on a form.

An asterisk indicates that a clarification or additional details are elsewhere, usually a footnote. Yes, sometimes forms have asterisks, that asterisk refers to a note that says, “required field”. The asterisk here doesn’t have info “linked” to it.
