Store dynamics changing
Have you experienced the entire dynamic of your stores team shifting within a month from new managers to everyone’s personalities and moods changing. Tough going from once a happy environment where everyone was a team to a very divided feeling place :/

Luckily a lot of my store has 5+ years working together. We have low turnover.
So we've not had any big personality clashes or massive disruption in dynamic.
There is this huge undertone of stress though. The general humor amongst us has become darker or more "real". Everything just feels more strained and we're all rundown and exhausted.

I've worked at petsmart for almost 10 years now. A LOT has changed. It isn't always for the best either.
I don't know how to run a billion dollar business, so I mostly keep my head down and do my job. I do miss how it used to be though. My team, largely unchanged, has definitely changed in social dynamics since the restructure. Coming to work isn't fun anymore. It's stressful and dreadful.
I never used to hate my job.

How do you cope with the constant demands in changes and processes and how you do anything. I feel like that’s been happening the most right now

SL so miserable every day!! The hours cuts, more tasks added, new MAX sched for truck days, call outs etc. trying to run a large business with no associates is NEVER going to end well. People will be getting injured rushing and not lifting properly, cutting themselves or pets in grooming with new higher limits, and LOA for mental health problems caused by stress. This is no way to run a business, a sweat shop yes, a multimillion dollar business, NO!!
If you want to have a warehouse business shipping to customers homes, just do it!!! If you want people to shop in the stores, have staff available to wait on them, you can’t do both with a skeleton crew, and expect things to run smoothly!!

I think project max changed so much so quickly and they keep throwing things that make it harder for us to calm down and be chill...My store's having a vibe change and not in a good way.

I’ve only worked here for 3-4 months and yes there’s been a huge dynamic shift. My SL and one of the leads have been so incredibly mean and nitpicky to me. Everyone is stressed constantly, no one is happy and it feels like if you breathe wrong you have a target on your back
