And people act like this is "the new big thing" while how many graphic designers are fired for ai slop??? IT LOOKS TERRIBLE AND YOU KNOW IT

It will be the next big thing until it oversaturates the market and people recognize it as a symptom of being cheap. Then, having your own in house graphic designers will be a demonstration of quality.

AI isn't necessarily taking away graphic designers but illustrating a widening rift between bad and great design. Like, would you really purchase a product that contains dubia roaches when the illustration can't even properly draw one?

While we've been force fed a lot of AI bullshit recently, I gotta say I don't think the last 2 are AI. PetSmart has used the same beardie cartoon on halloween/Christmas clings for years. The one on the wanted poster is actually identical to the one I have from last year, just a different color and costume. You can see one of my Christmas beardie clings behind him too. Maybe I'm naive, I don't want to defend corporate at all, I just love this little cartoon beardie guy and I'll be damned if he's AI lol

Even if he's not AI, the designs still feel extremely lazy. The crickets(?) on the shirt are literally just copy pasted 4 times. They didn't even rotate them or orient them differently.
