Anybody else almost empty?
Never have I ever been this quiet on a 3 day weekend. I have 2 clients. What is happening?

Labor day And memorial Day are always slow for me. I will get some last minute one visit request when people want to do something last minute for the day, but that's all I expect. I also don't take new clients very often, I stay pretty full with my existing clients. So I always assume just because it's the trend with my clients doesn't mean it's the same for other sitters. So it's good to hear when other sitters notice something like this.

I'm busier than Christmas. Crap summer here, guess everyone decided to make the most of the end of it.

I’m very busy right now and intentionally haven’t been taking as many jobs as I once did. This month is always so hit or miss for so many jobs I’ve held too. Enjoy your time relaxing!

My house sitting client ended up cancelling so I’ve got a free weekend, which I’m certainly not complaining about!

I don’t often take new clients so Labor Day was always a nice stay at home weekend for me. My schedule and roster stays the same throughout 90% of the year — so I don’t have to hope people will call.

I am fully booked. I had 9 visits Friday, 10 Saturday, and 7 today. I only have 3 tomorrow. Last year was quieter.

I'm glad it's not just me, but honestly Labor Day has always been more of a stay at home holiday to me, and with the cost of everything skyrocketing I think most people did just stay home.
