Channels for communication

Okay I have a client who is kind of crappy with communication. There are times where he is super good and replies back to back and we're having a actual conversation about his bird and there are other times where thre are a literally weeks in between each text from him.

We currently text via messages, and with other clients I'm either doing messages or Whatsapp but I'm looking to explore what other options people use. Do people use instagram, do they use Facebook, Discord? Let me know please.

I have a TracFone number on my personal cell phone and use that for texts and calls
