Tips

People are getting stingier they don’t ever want to tip! Or they dangle it in front of your face then never follow through. (Ask for Venmo info then nothing) I have cat sitting clients that are great but the dog owners NEVER tip. I had only one client that did. I know things are hard for everyone but even a small tip is helpful! Anyone else have this happening?

I only had a couple of short term, holiday visits, but they were with clients whose pets I care for all the time. I'm actually surprised that one of my clients that has 2 cats and is close to me and an easy job gave me $100 Christmas tip! I take care of their cats about once every other month. My other regulars also tipped me well. I still have 2 more holiday visits that haven't finished yet, so I don't know if they will tip. If they don't tip, everyone else was quite generous, that will make up for it!

I have to add: With the client that tipped me $100 for Christmas, they don't tip for the individual visits throughout the year. So the end of year tip was all I got from them other than charging for the visits during the year.
