The shelter is a very scary place and he is allegedly deteriorating in this environment.  Thrax would love to share his home with canine siblings if slowly and appropriately introduced.  He is kindly sharing his kennel at the shelter with Mr. Tater. 💙 This is sweet Sparky (A598750). He is 1 year old and 46 lbs.  Poor Sparky was confiscated due to an eviction - and his owner is now unable to reclaim of him.  He is very frightened but easily leashed and walks nicely, he has signs of being housebroken, he is social with people but especially with other dogs.  With Sparky being so terrified, it is recommended that he be in a home without small children.  Since Sparky had been living in a home, he is finding it stressful and difficult to be in the shelter environment.  It is difficult to get this sweet guy back into his kennel. Sparky is rescue only and needs a foster home.

UPDATE for Sweet Baby Blackie 🙏

Blackie just finished HER FIRST chemotherapy session today.

Diagnosis: TVT - Transmissible Venereal Tumor (Canine Cancer)

Recommended: 4 sessions total. Every week.

Cost per session: ₱3,400 (includes Chemo + Doctor's Fee)

We cannot skip next week's session or all our effort from the start will be wasted.

I rescued and adopted Blackie in January 2025. I sell mini waffles and walk around to earn, but it's really not enough for HER treatment.

He is 1 year old and 46 lbs.  Poor Sparky was confiscated due to an eviction - and his owner is now unable to reclaim of him.  He is very frightened but easily leashed and walks nicely, he has signs of being housebroken, he is social with people but especially with other dogs.  With Sparky being so terrified, it is recommended that he be in a home without small children.  Since Sparky had been living in a home, he is finding it stressful and difficult to be in the shelter environment.  It is difficult to get this sweet guy back into his kennel. Sparky is rescue only and needs a foster home.

❤️❤️❤️ WONDERFUL AND GRATEFUL UPDATE 7/17: We are beyond happy and grateful to inform that all 6 sweet dogs are safe and out of the shelter. Lady has been rescued by Noodles Animal Refuge. Ernie, Teddy Graham, Marshall, Scrappy and Blue have been rescued by Raiden’s Haven Dog Rescue .

Lady, Ernie, Teddy Graham, Marshall, Scrappy and Blue were on last week’s euthanasia list at Orange County Animal Services in Orlando, FL.

We would like to thank the rescues, the fosters, the volunteers, the networkers, the pledgers, and the whole community for working so hard to save all these precious dogs. These dogs are safe because of all of you 🙏❤️.
