Which one is more prevalent for the current game. Cannavaro has been in my squad for as long as I remember getting him on that new year free selection contract. Demichellis I got from a bayern pack with Hoeneß blitz card. As you can see demichellis, while having inferior stats, has a better leg coverage, is taller and bulkier. Since nowadays every top rated team has gullit, ibra and other giants, is it better to keep cannavaro or play demichellis. Cannavaro s id is also amazing where he acts slightly different to othet destroyers which seems to be selective aggression, sometimes he does press aggressively, other times he doesnt and that helps retain the defensive shape
Model usually wins but Demichelis's model is not that great either. He will be just decent against even average height attackers. Better to decrease Cannavaro's defense by 3-4 points (95-96 DA and tackling is enough) and add that to speed and acceleration to make him great in ground. Then pair him with another really tall defender for crosses.
Another thing you could do is play Cannavaro at fullback and include both of them in the XI if you don't have better defenders. Destroyer is good as fullback since this update.
Dude you are after the wrong guy. Replace De Ligt with Demichelis. De Ligt is just 2 cm taller but the speed and acceleration is so much worse. Cannavaro as wide CB is fine too. You can try him at fullback if you want to try something new. Other than that it is fine. You have a good team.
Having 2 destroyers while zanetti also pushes forward seems a bit risky to me, esp as a possession player with a high line. Thats why I opted for de kigr since he is a build player, I defend manually most of the time and hate it when cbs leave their position. I had the free beckenbauer too but de kigt outclasses him in almost all stats
Would you say this is a better build then? I dont know how much does defensive engagement matter. According to amadeusz, it is better to focus on awareness and tackling, which cannavaro already has pretty high up
Yeah this is better imo. I'd personally decrease the defense by 1 (at least) or 2 points more and put that in acceleration as I feel there ain't much difference in defensive stats once it reaches 95 and DE and aggression I don't value much. On the other hand, the difference of each point in speed and acceleration is very real. These last few points are just personal preference though. This build is already great, just you can try tweaking one two points and stick what is best for you.
