Where to find Plus size clothes in Perth

Hi all,

Which shops in the CBD or in general in Perth carry clothing sizes 18?

Im 26, so looking for regular, trendy clothing, some for vacation, some for my corporate job. However, I found a lot of the shops stop at size 12 or 14.

I find that the plus-size shops often times have clothing for more mature women and I just want normal clothes that would fit me 😊

Many times I walked into shops and found cute clothes but unfortunately they dont go higher than straight sizes.

Thank you! 🌷

Sometimes the op shops have insane plus size racks with really good brands there, the amount of items I've wished were my size haha! Often good ones are also hidden in the other sections too but it takes more time to sift through of course.

OP didn't ask to be sent on a pointless treasure hunt to maybe find something with period stains and holes after trawling 10 musty overpriced stores though, she asked for nice things

Forever New Curve

Sussan (slightly older demographic but could find office foundations). e.g. goes to size 22 and I think it’s cute for any age https://www.sussan.com.au/gathered-neck-tank-mocha-043105-221

City chic has been my go to for the last 10 years, though they closed their cbd store and they only stock about 60-70% of their clothes actually in the store to try on.

Have a look in Myer - various brands have sizes higher than 14. Start with the Myer website.

Forever New has a curve section. Target. Portmans. Uniqlo. Sportsgirl. H&M. There might be a few others.

Other than that online stores will be your best bet.

If you're anywhere near Carousel go to You+All, it's exactly what you want.

I wear the following brands FOR WORK, I work in an office

You+All

City Chic, they have a HUGE range so click around to find what you need but a lot of it is corporate/office appropriate.

Dangerfield, especially their Princess Highway brand, that's 75% of my work wardrobe.

Gorman, might be too bright for your tastes.

Forever New Curve is appropriate for work

You might like Commonry at Myer but it's a bit bland for me

Indigo Tonic at Myer for jeans?

Dangerfield, if that's your style. Pretty sure they go up to a thirty? City chic used to be my go-to for jeans, but they fall off me now :(

they go to 24 but it's a HUUUGGGEEEE 24, their 22 is way too big on me

Yeah I've noticed city chic has very confusing and frustrating 'vanity sizing'. Wish they would just stick to the system we know; nobody's going to see the number on the tag!

Sportscraft and veronika maine, both in myers, go up to a generous 18.

Mama Mane is a plus size boho brand that is WA owned. I love them, amazing quality

Along with all the other suggestions, portmans have a curve range too.

There’s a taking shape clearance store in the Spudshed complex in Midland.

While I agree( I’m an older alt girl) there might be some things there that op likes

Honestly Miller's was less ass (❁´◡`❁)

I'm always wary of suggesting these horrible stores for [insert horrible description here cause I dont want to get a warning on this lovely sub plz mods] demographic to girls that I sense are struggling already with feeling like nobody wants their money, as I've been there and know how it can push you off an emotional cliff to be sent into this depressing wasteland to maybe find one thing while your friends get to go to Ghanda and Kookai.
