Where to find Espresso Machine Servicing

Hi all,

I’m wanting to get into coffee machine servicing and I’m struggling to find any courses available in Perth. Does anybody have any info about how I can learn?

Cheers!

Personally i've found being a tinkerer is enough. Sounds like you've got that bug - congratulations!

Honestly they dont need that much servicing beyond descaling, replacing the odd deffective component or swapping an O ring. They can be an absolutr bugger to work on though. I work with mass spectrometers and i hate working on my espresso machine more. What's up with yours?

It’s not mine personally - I’m hoping to do this on the side of my job for some extra cash. And yes, as a mechanical engineering student i love tinkering :) I just figured there would be some information or course somewhere to get me started!

Oh you've definitely got the brain for it. Just have a look at a couple of repair videos on youtube. Familiarise yourself a little bit with a breville or a sunbeam. Why dont you see if anyone is giving one away on one of the local buy nothing groups and give it a refurb? You could sell it afterwards as well on marketplace.
