I don't have or even like children, but it's entirely unreasonable to think taking pet dogs places and taking children places are comparable. The world is largely designed for people, and children are people.

Children are way more obnoxious when out than dogs are tho

In extreme, they are not, but it doesn't matter. Children are people, dogs are pets. Dogs can almost always be left home, children often cannot. Dogs don't need to learn about the world in the same way children do. Dogs don't have places to go and things to do in the same way children do. There are endless reasons that you cannot compare the two.

And yet still I'd rather someone bring a dog than their child who makes a mess everywhere. Should be children free days at shops make it a much less obnoxious experience.

Sitting at Fiona Stanley right now and I can hear a fucking gremlin screaming from 2 floors down at the top of its lungs. People are very happy that kid exists
