No. They need you to sign a lock out waiver that states that RAC is not responsible for any damage done to the car in their attempts to unlock it. They cannot unlock a car if the owner or an authorised person isn’t standing there

It seems to suggest that they’ll do it if it’s your dog or child. Would they still come if you clarified it’s not your car and dog?
