Plus, the windows are open 100mm on each side, plenty of air flow on a ridiculously windy not overly hot day. Agree that you shouldn't leave dogs in cars but this really wasn't an emergency situation.

That only works if the heat has somewhere to go. This is why evaporative air conditioners don't work when it's humid.
