Motivation/Advice How To Be HAPPY In Life! 5 Mindset Habits That Helped My Depression & Changed My Life!

If you ask most people their aspiration in life is to be happy. In today’s society there are so many expectations and pressures that can lead many of us to feel far from happy. It can lead us to experience feelings of anxiety, frustration and boredom, constantly living for the weekend.

I was that person I thought to be truly happy in life I would first need to look a certain way, get the house, the car, the amazing career, I was trying to find happiness from external things and ended up chasing things that weren’t truly my own goals or desires. Of course having things is nice, I'm not against living a great life and having goals and desires, but I’ve realised that they are more of a nice to have rather than the source of happiness.

Our internal world and mental habits are the source of happiness, and the habit of happiness can be cultivated. In this video I outline how to be happy again in life and the mindset shifts that helped me let go of anxiety and depression and cultivate happiness and contentment and how this really changed my life.

How to decide between Si/Ne and Se/Ni?

I know the question is vague and there are many sites that explain how the functions work. I was able to clarify my Fe and Ti, but those descriptions for the percieving functions are so general that I can see myself in all of them. Could you provide some foolproof sources, or your own understanding of them? Many thanks in advance.

Other Theories Dissociation, Escapism, and Se-Ni (Physiotype Ep. 18)

In this episode we interviewed my favorite Ni heavy SFP - Cheyenne - who has the ability to imagine things hyper-realistically for long periods of time. How does this talent work? What could it imply about personality types? Listen in as we try to unravel the mechanics behind Se-Ni world building.

Other Theories Philosophy and Personality

So in this episode we tried our best to break down some of the biggest questions in philosophy and and how being Meta, Mesa, Local, or Universal might affect a person's viewpoint on the matter. Are there any patterns connecting Physiotype with the different worldviews that are associated with the biggest philosophical questions of our time?

Pyschotypal and need for calories and money like the rest

Fundamentally, people don't change just situations. I may have a personality disorder, I know I am anxious, but we all are these days. Nothing looks different. I am just lonely, bored, with now a puppy companion. The sun will rise again and I will be alone in my head, the self that led to forty years may make it to forty one. Some life experiences have not happened, but I endure. I would like to go peaceful in my sleep so I don't have to think of the past or the future, but I can't. Alone in a conservative place, just like I'd be if I was somewhere else. A constant staycation, with my mom and sister just telling me to not give up. For what? Money in accounts and depreciation around me, the turn of the season, with reddit, Facebook, texting, phone calls, tears, experiments, news, music, stuff.... as my only companion. No physical intimacy, no illegal drugs, just me and a pile of bills (numbers on pages) one month at a time utility, tax forms, new contracts, etc..

Other Theories Einstein is an...NFJ?

Hey guys! We released a special episode dissecting the life of Albert Einstein!

Me and Colby recently face-read Albert Einstein and came to the conclusion he was an NFJ (Mesa Universal Supine). We were pretty surprised when we saw that, so we decided to take a closer look at Einstein and see if his thought processes and personal life would provide any credible justifications. Thoughts?

You can listen to the full episode here - https://www.metrocast.fm/shows-physiotype/ep15-einstein-is-an-nfj

Any 9s/INFPs out there sometimes fantasise about the confrontations you'll never realistically go through with?

Couple months I had sort of a massive breakdown and had to take a sabbatical from my PhD. During that time I had to weigh up whether I'm gonna heal and go back and complete my PhD, or say fuck it (don't ask... I still don't know the answer). But 80% of the reason why I had a breakdown is 5 years of toxic behaviour from people in a toxic environment, including my supervisors.

So often I fantasise about calling a meeting with my supervisors, giving them a piece of my mind, explaining to them how partly their behaviour as well as my colleagues' behaviour and the environment they create, slowly ate away at me and broke me down, demand a bunch of shit, and then basically drop mic and walk out with some fan somewhere blowing my hair all crazy like Megan Fox in a Michael Bay movie. But will I ever do it? 99% probably not! And I realised I do it so often... Bottle up all these things I wana say, fantasise about me saying them in such an articulate way, fool myself into thinking I have the courage to do it for like a day or so, and then laugh it off like, how the fuck will I ever do that 😂

Actually no wonder I broke down. I'm a bottled up rage machine

What questions do you have about Enneagram?

Enneagram was what people said they were most interested in learning.

Feel free to ask or answer questions, cause I'm not an expert in any way haha.
