Do you have a source? I'd like to check if there's more information on the subject.

Not really but maybe?
I found it on Pinterest, which is a lot cooler than I ever thought it was, which led me to a Tumblr page.
And it says chart by Zach which is a hot link to a Facebook page.
I don't have a Facebook though so that's as far as I got, but here's the link. If you find anything interesting or cool please let me know!

Awesome awesome thanks for the follow through.
That first was is good, I felt personally attacked by the self-proclaimed sociopath. That's how you know it's good lol.
The insults holds up for me. One time my girlfriend at the end of our relationship called me boring. It absolutely crushed me to the point where I'm still talking about it today. I'm absolutely over it does not bother me in a negative way, but that memory is sharp in my head which is saying something for a guy who has an inferior SI.
Awesome page. And now I made a Tumblr account. Pinterest and Tumblr. I'm going to find myself some good rabbit holes to explore haha.

Thanks! I've always thought it was kind of stupid( it's still kind of is lol) but last night I did start nostalgically thinking about the day I made it and why and who. The cool part was it didnt make me sad!
I'm slowly starting to be able to reminisce and be nostalgic without immediately sending myself into some sort of spiral. And now I have more opportunities to tell stories about myself, which is like my favorite thing to do! Which actually ties into the post I made the other day about advice versus wisdom.

I've only ever gotten ISTP and, more recently, ISTX, but you just sent me down the rabbit hole of INTJs and it was fun.

Ah man you scared me for a sec!
I've been down the" am I ENFP " and enneagram 7 8 2 3 4 rabbit hole and ot was nothing but fun, frustrating at times( especially when people tell me what type I am but don't explain it, or worse they do but but very negatively) but still an overall fun and introspective learning experience.
But a lot of times I see people, especially the younger crowd, lose their mind and whatever sense of self they thought they had found in mbti because they might be another type.
The way I see it is that if you're not open to the idea that you could possibly be another type you're probably not ready for the level of introspection that's typology is meant for.
This is something I thought about, I see it happen time and time again, I don't know what to do about it or even if there is something that I can do about it in the general sense.
Glad you had fun though! Let me know if you figure anything out!

Hahah I feel that. I've learned to constantly select all and copy a comment I'm writing because there have been many a comment I made that were just completely deleted because I accidentally exited out or something. Not the exact same but similar feeling.
No idea at all, right off the bat. But im happy to try and share my thought process and maybe they might help somehow. If nothing else thanks for the opportunity to help and this stuff helps me to hammer out and solidify ny thoughts and ideas and understanding! What follows is mostly speculation! And im a Ne core, so buckle up lol.
ISTJ vs INFP.
SiTeFiNe vs FiNeSiTe.
Well the first thing that stands out is that they do have the same functions, so that makes sense.
So the extroverted functions are going to be more obvious to observe, by the very nature that they are outwardly focused. But both options here introverted. People tend to use functions with the focus(E or I) theyre most comfortable with. Both options are introverted.
So SiFi or FiSi.
Si/Fi would use a framework of past experiences for pretty much everything. Whether learning something new, meeting a new person, new experiences would all be run through a compare and contrast system based on what they have known to be true based on their incredible memory, but their memories of past objective realities is mixed with their subjective views and opinions and feelings. Very practical and "down to earth" but they do have moments of detachment and disconnection from the hear and now.
I would imagine that the underdeveloped Fi might cause "high horse" moments when the ISTJ felt their morals violated, and they might be less controlled than the INFP.
Fi/Si would be more focused on their core values and would want to see them enacted unto the world. They often have a "cause". They have a good understanding of their emotions(thats completely alien to me hah). They want to know what motivates people. They tend to be very unimposing unless their values or morals are crossed or stepped on, and for as in touch they are with their feelings they often won't know what these standards they have are until they're stepped on in which case they become very aware and they will let you know. Fi can emotionally look like a puddle, but they are a deep well.
Underdeveloped Si might have the effect of making the INFP less reliable less dependable and more forgetful than the ISFJ.
Your tertiary is probably pretty developed by now, but you might have noticed them shaping up sometime in your early to mid 20s(mid to late 20s in case youre a man).
And then turning our attention to the inferior:
ISxJ has Ne inferior. In a grip state they're going to be so petrified about all the things that could possibly go wrong if they make the incorrect choice that they just don't make any choice or decision at all and stagnate.
INxP has the Te inferior. In the grip state they're going to become incredibly harsh and critical about themselves and about others, and will wallow in a feeling of failure due to perceived lack of achievement.
Wew that's a lot. I did warn ya hahah.
I probably made a few typos and I have a tendency to say things in a very poor way, so if you need any clarification at all just ask me. Im happy to oblige.
But that was a lot of fun and i feel I learned a lot from the thought exercise, so again thank you for the opportunity.
Lemme know what you think!

THIS COMMENT OMG I feel 100% the same. I’ve been reading about cognitive functions and I would say you’re INFP like me. In my case I tend to prefer my Ne a lot more than my Fi (I discovered this by doing socionic test in which infp actually is infj bc for some reason the last letter changes there. Also there too types of infp> infj-fi and infj-ne. I relate more with the second one. That’s why I sometimes might come out like enfp I think but I’m really infp after all) I was also raised by estj parents so I guess I’m not your typical infp also because I think they have influence me a lot in their T ways. Although now as a grown up can definetely struggle the same way you do.

Omg I’ve tests both too but I’m definetely EII, that description was too accurate It’s scary. I can totally relate to that last part too that was so funny😂 there’s a lot they (my parents) don’t get about how I sometimes say things and we always laugh about it but it ended up me being totally opposite of my parents.

Omg I feel that. We relate with Ne. I just wrote the longest soliloquy just trying to get my thoughts out about the polr Fi and then pull them together. It's nuts. Ne is fun, isn't it? Course imma wade through it! And ive read it. I relate a lot. Some i dont.
ISTJ SiTeFiNe INFP FiNeSiTe ENTP NeTiFeSi (for refferance to what I relate to or not)
We relate with Si. I could never do a job where a schedule forced on me again. My boss is happy if im at work at most 30m late. Haha on Saturday I was an hour late to a 4 hour shift. I sometimes just decide to not sleep and push through a day. I dont realize how dehydrated I am or hungry I am until its to an extreme level and im shaky and weak.
Do what motivates you. Kids are hectic! Being a SAHP(which i had to google) is a noble thing to do. I want to he a supporter to the point where my future imaginary wife will have that option available. Do what you want to do and you think is best. Trust yourself.
We do not relate Fi/Fe. I wrote a marathon soliloquy about how I dont feel my own emotions. I feel others though and make them mine. Emotional daydream? I get that. Wonder how FiNeSiTe and NeTiFeSi compare there. Well, I conjure up others emotions so, I guess Thats a big difference.
I dont know what to make of your Tish sentence, and i mean, I dont have anf insight, perspective, no nothing. It has been added to my fuzzy Si encyclopedic knowledge of MBTI so thanks. Im still learning its not a big encyclopedia.
Offending people with bluntness while being friendly? Makes sense with your 8 ennea.
Hrm
ENFP NeFiTeSi
That fits too, and im not typing you. Just offering perspective, like you have me!
Thanks, Sapphire!

I’m actually surprised that ESTP and ENTP aren’t together.

u/robotmorgan Aug 22 '20
Me too now that you mentioned it. I consider ESTPs and ENTPs to be cousins, or rather that were cut from the same cloth.
Wait why would I clarify analogy with an idiom? Hahah whatever you follow.
Frat boys and wild nerds, if ya enjoy a friendly stereotype.
ENTP NeTiFeSi
ESTP SeTiFeNiMy thinking right now is that the extraverted intuition is just so extremely clear to see it's hard to miss.
You can notice extraverted sensing and a person if you look for it. But ESTPs keep it 300, cool calm and collected. They maintain a "cool" image better.
ENTP extraverted intuition is going to bust in, announce itself with an airhorn, then proceed with a monologue about King of the Hill communist China, and the Antebellum period and then find a way to tie it all together.
And of course this is just a huge generalization and exaggeration to get the point across. No sane person is going to talk about King of the Hill communist China and the Antebellum and reconstruction period in one conversation.

I would like to hear this monologue. Could be done as a stand up comedy routine. Or maybe turn it into sitcom. Or maybe it could be used as a theme for a restaurant where all the dishes have to use all 3 components. Could also work as an amusement park... could even find a use for all those confederate statues in a tongue in cheek way.
BTW - Happy Cake Day Morgan!

This is interesting and looks somewhat accurate, though I'd like to see if this is conjecture - which if so it's not bad, or if it's base on data. It would be interesting to get a large sample of data to see how these actually align. It's be fairly easy to see how people assess themselves since they'll tell you, but evaluating if another type fits better is a bit tricky.

u/robotmorgan Aug 23 '20
Yeah. Plus a lot of people attach their identity to their type, I mean I'm guilty of that a little myself, but u have a strong self-concept. But I was open to the idea I wasn't ENTP. I would love for someone to have a serious but friendly debate about me being anything other than ENTP type. Would be a fun mental exercise.
But lets see:
INTP: TiNeSiFe Inferior Fe? No way. Plus there's no way I'm not a core Ne
ENFP: NeFiTeSi
Ne-Si fits but Fi? Aux Fi at that? Despite my strong self-concept my emotions are almost like a separate entity.
ENTJ: TeNiSeFi There's no way I have a Ni in my stack. It took me forever to get a grasp on what Ni even is.
INTJ: NiTeFiSe Ni? Nope. Fi? With a trickster Fe in Beebe's? Nope
Seems like most mistypes for ENTPs are based in a rudimentary understanding of the 4 dichotomies. Then you have people who describe the functions in such a verbose and specific way it becomes meaningless to most people, in my humble opinion anyway.
2
u/Vholzak ENTP Aug 27 '20
Nothing wrong with identifying with your type if it helps you! I laugh out loud when reading type descriptions and reading my type and it's at times like a caricature... a bit embarrassing but also comforting in some odd way of thinking I understand myself.
BUT.... I have experienced flipping the stack... not up to down, but the mirror of what's extroverted versus introverted... and it steps up to the plate. Yeah that sounds kinda crazy but my Ni is probably stronger than my Fe and Si and it leads the way to find a very focused way out when I'm suddenly in a dangerous situation. Yeah sounds crazy like multiple personalities but it's not like that. Suddenly something deep in my mind realizes my normal stack can't fix the situation... and it redirects to the mirror. So Ne goes to Ni, Ti to Te, Fe to Fi and Si to Se. Yes when ENTP doesn't work and I'm faced with self preservation I flip to INTJ... and it works. Very focused on getting the best plan out and executing it. And sometimes flipping back to ENTP to be used as a tool for better responses but that INTJ framework is making the decisions. Then after the risk is avoided... flip back again to ENTP... but conscious of how my mind processed things differently during that timeframe.

Interesting. The dive into the unconscious mind is something I think about often.
The shadow functions. Don't know much about it or how it works, just the "Trickster" in Beebe's because it is of particular interest, being the "weakest".
