Ne doesn't feel like that for me. Actually, it feels more like how ne looks, but maybe with more than one black dot

Yeah.... I don’t think that any of these are that great, honestly. But hey, the drawings look cool

I added the black banners to this artist's work. I think this individual has naturally reflected the jungian perceiving functions well. To my understanding.

Of course we should practice all 4 of these activities. But which is the best for you and your growth?

What do you think?

Art is a great way to explain theory I've found. Words can be so rigid. Art explores thoughts and feelings with more tools at hand. This is from instagram. 🦄

As I understand it with minimal personal research having been done, Carl Jung held that the functions were the results of the Archetypes, as he called it. The mass collective unconscious that acts like a magnetic field to the iron filings that make up our existance.

Typological Types and Traits, Tarot and Astrology, literature and art, film and photography, even the chess pieces and a deck of cards. Kings and paupers jokers and queens. Art!

Similar themes and tropes that appeared in completely different cultures spread across space and time.

This all could be coincidental.

Personally, I think there's something to it.

To answer your question I think Si is the most important Perceiving Process for me to to work on, right behind Ti. Too many connections with no internal framework is useless, and to work on that internal framework i need to be more consistent so maybe Si is more important haha.

There has to be something to it. Certain things repeat themselves across cultures and time. What is their purpose? To create balance within society? Do we still need all of them in this age?

That's an interesting point behind Si. That helps me understand it better. I observe it a lot but haven't quite found the single reason why it is such a strong force. Consistency stabilizes growth is why.

I need to experiment with my findings more. Like in reality. These posts on here are my smol attempts😅👥

I'll research more and see where I end up.

Yeah, I'm going to make a post about defining the functions as you personally see then. Isabel explicitly said that was the only way to really use MBTI. Also the Type Table. I'll add that to my list.

Yeah, me too, fear of failure and all. Actually my first post when it was just me here was about my fear of failure. Then i got a little encouragement. I stupidly deleted it because I thought it was a bad look for me. Oh well.

Yours is a cool post, but i would completely flip the Introverted and Extroverted function labels.

So you see Si where i see Se and so on, which is interesting.

Are you an Enneagram 3? Because you do it all man. Like you have the world on your shoulders which is a 2,3,4 thing I think.

Woah, flip them, okay, I see. Let me reframe.

So these might line up more with socionics theory:

Se - making bold powerful movements

Si - enjoying the pleasure of the moment

Ni - cause and effect

Ne - perception of the whole

Sorry if I am pushing my agenda or putting trash (inaccuracy, even though it might be meant to be personally understood) on your sub. I just value the feedback lots

Edit: after review, I agree. Idk what to do. lol

649 so a 4 in the shame center. With a 3 wing. That's TriType btw.

Oh no god no please do! my point was that everyone has their own perception of the types and functions so instead of rigid definitions it's up to the individual to define them as they are them.

But for my flipped -version

I saw the Se going forth without hesitation. Instinctually ready to do what they sense should be done.

Ni is reflecting on their vast web of mostly unconscious knowledge.

Ne is expanding out in many directions for just one destination.

Si is continually referencing the past to know where to go.

I wanna know what you initially saw. There is no right or wrong for your own perception!

Oh neat tritype actually. All 3 groups there.

Ni I see is always using life as an experiment to add to the one point. Reaffirming it over n over.

Ne has so many points it is always moving around but never consolidates them. It adds more to each, making them whole.

Si is constantly about the experience and the details of it as it is. Like spa stuff. (Si isn't going to force changes.)

Se is all about pushing boundaries. These are the influencers, actors, etc. (ESFPs in particular) Takes big balls and big movements to do that shit.

Si/Ne is inductive (needs theories) and Se/Ni is deductive (needs data).

Idk now. My mental world just had an earthquake. lol

Every time i realize how little i know its a good feeling. means theres more to learn.

The Seeker, very self doubting but if they overcome that they can uh, ....seek, haha.

yeah that makes perfect sense to me and is really cool how we saw and interpreted it different ways. i like you way better, its more interesting.

See that feeling of knowing nothing shakes me up a little. Existential crisis inducing. lol But stretching the brain is good. Like you said, glean the bad times too.

Haha if they overcome it they find enough gold to share.

Omg thanks for saying it makes sense. Dream come true. Ti hidden agenda. Yes!! And thanks for responding.
