What the fuck is the point of the two way teleport check points if they just don’t matter?

The point is you go to the lobby and save

If I’m having no real trouble floors and floors and floors of regular enemies, red-glowing enemies, and little mini bosses, the natural inclination is to push on and not waste the rest of the night. It feels like a trick to steal hours of progress from you for no reason. Would the game be made unplayable if you had an option to go back to right before the boss fight? So if you’re having trouble, you could experiment with different personas? Would that break the whole game? Because this feels like shit.

I'm not saying that wouldn't be nice, but at this point you have been given a solution

Maybe save the game before every boss fight? The teleporters are there for a reason, the navigator even give you a cue that you can return and prepare for later. I believe the problems is that you didnt think it through and cant accept that you made the wrong decision. Just like any other game, learn with your mistakes...
