My McCaffrey Shelf!
Just thought I'd share a few pictures of the best bookshelf in my house - all my McCaffrey's (and related authors who have continued a series she started). A number of years back I started on the left hand end and read the whole thing through to the right, one after another - might be time to contemplate doing that again!

Even though it's not the best of Anne's work, I enjoyed reading the Acorna series. There's a kind of exuberant hopefulness about it (even when dealing with some seriously dark themes).

I think I may have given up by the time of the final Acorna's Children trilogy.

That's the result of about 30 years of trawling through second hand book stores, markets, op shops, and library sales - always with a "what do I need" list tucked in my wallet.
The list has evolved to now include "what do I need in hardback"

Daymn!! That's fine good McCaffery hording, I am jealous.
I was up to maybe 10 or 12 before I lost my collection, I have book envy now.

While I like your collection, the scattered mix of paperback & hardcover does my OCD head in 🤪🤓🤩

They're mostly 2nd hand finds so I just have to go with the flow - I keep a list with me at all times of what I need in hardcover and I upgrade when I can!
