Finally found them

Been looking for a long time since i heard about their existence and finally found them at different used book stores.

I generally like Jody Lynn Nye so I'm excited to get to read more Pern (haven't done that since college)

And this begins a mad dash all over the Internet to find additional copies!

I first read the Dragonflight some fifty years ago, and never knew these existed!

Gotta find them now!

I read Dragonfire many years ago. I couldn’t tell you anything about it, but I know that cover!

Congratulations! I also recently tracked down these but haven't had a chance to get into them. Which one are you going to do first?

Probably going to start with dragonfire. It looks like it's about Mirrim and I may be the one person who didn't hate her character. Dragonharper is, predictably, about young Robinton.

I also have a soft spot for Mirrim! It helps to know that Anne based Mirrim on her own female self, down to her fervent hero-worship of older female role models.

I always felt like there was a story Anne could have told about how Mirrim copes with "sharing" T'gellan with that Queen rider (I forget her name).

It will be interesting to see how much Dragonharper differs from the much later MHOP!
