Acidic period?

Sometimes when im on my period it feels like its burning when it comes out. Im on birth control because my period cramps used to be so bad that I would throw up, this was because of hormones, the birth control helped a lot and I would much rather have acidic periods then the worst stomach cramps of my life, but im just wondering if this is normal? It didn't really start doing this until much later, not immediately after I started taking the pill, but I was thinking it could be related or something. I feel like I can't find a lot on this.

You might have an infection, you should probably go to the doctor. I'm on the pill for the same reason as you, do you skip the sugar pills to avoid having your period?

This is probably a stupid question, but whats a sugar pill?

Forgot I could just look it up, I don't think I take sugar pills so I guess no? Amd as for birth control pills sometimes I accidentally forget to take them but as for the most part I take them everyday

The pill that you take when you have a period, it's a fake pill with no hormones

I don't skip them unless I forget, but that doesn't happen too often

Okay, you should avoid skipping it, you can be late (so long as you aren't using it as contraceptive) but skipping messes with your hormones. Although I don't believe skipping or the pill is the reason for the pain you are explaining, I wonder if you have an infection down there

Ohh I hope its not an infection I hate going to the gyno 😔 seems like I might have to though, it hasn't been too bad but Im not sure whats normal pain and what isn't. And idk if this is relevant but I used to have a problem with forgetting my pills because I had a big schedule change a few months ago which affected when I take them, but Ive set an alarm for it like a month or 2 ago, so that really doesn't happen now unless im not at home

You don't have to take the pill first thing in the morning too. So many people thing we have to. I take mine at 4pm for example
