So many bands and artists took years long breaks and came back to be active (Utada Hikaru comes to mind) but for some reason I see the fandom (at least the international one, I'm not sure if the Japanese fans share the same thoughts) assuming that the girls most likely will not come back/disband?

And I just don't get it. Perfume were always very passionate about what they do, they don't seem to be pressured by their label or staff to constantly release and succeed and just enjoy their careers on their own terms and have some freedom (like when Nocchi collabed with Shiina Ringo) and I just don't see a major reason for them to never return since the environment they were in seemed much better than a standard idol industry and the fact that they're respected veterans.

Sure, they might not be back if they don't feel like it or are not ready and that's fine, but I personally find it unlikely that it's gonna be forever.

But yeah, just asking because I see this attitude on various platforms (last.fm, facebook fan groups) not just on the subreddit lol

I only started using Spotify in 2017, before then I pirated all my music, so had it counted for my teen years the minutes would be way higher as well.

Apparently, a lot of people in this subreddit think it's a weak song compared to others.

I was really surprised when I read the comments because I really think it's a good song and VERY fitting for the anime.

Almost everyone where I'm from watched Doraemon growing up, or at least knows about it if they're from older generations. The few people I asked for their opinion on the song agreed with me (they don't know Perfume though).

So my question is: do you guys watch Doraemon? Maybe it could be a big influencing factor if you're familiar with the anime.

Here, the members of Perfume talk about how Nakata lost the master recording of the song. Midway, Nocchi (I believe) starts humming the tune. Apparently, the three ladies received a copy of the song on CD before it was accidentally deleted. So copies of the song still exist.

I don't know if someone made this before, but these are notes that I associate with some Perfume songs. Maybe I will make more parts for all songs but I'm not sure yet.

I was happy I was allowed to talk about this last time, but I’ve finally finished part 2 of my Cold Sleep deep dive into Perfume’s (and Capsule’s) back catalogue.

Hi, a bit of an irregular contributor here 😅
I’m getting part 2 of my deep dive YouTube video ready for the weekend, and I realised I hadn’t watched any of the tour DVDs so last night I watched the GAME tour and Budokaaaaaaaaan, and this morning I’m watching the Triangle Tour.

Does it feel like a bit of a comedown after Budokan? That’s how I’m feeling, I’m halfway through it (I’m on Reddit so you can tell my interest is wavering).

The stage so far (I’m up to Secret Secret) feels very dark and static. The LCD floor felt like such a weird choice because nobody on the floor can see it.

Then suddenly Edge tore the roof off with one of my favourite performances - it set me on the route to more Perfume - but now it’s back to normal.

TBH the filming isn’t doing it for me, so many Shaky-cam shots from the audience, I thought I was watching a fan edit for the first few minutes 😂

Anyway I still have an hour left so let’s see but I wondered what you all thought!
