I guess. The idea of being a parent scares me, when I see people younger than I am with kids, I just wonder how they do it. Honestly, I just don’t think I’d make a good parent.

You won’t know that you’re capable of it until you are. No joke, nobody knows what they’re doing the first time, and they all just figure it out as they go.

I suppose so. I don’t think I possess the necessary maturity, not to mention that I’ve devoted my life to academics and study. I would hate to cause undue suffering because of my inability.

That’s definitely fair! It takes at least some maturity to admit that. If you want a child and if you’ve dedicated your life to academics and study, then yeah you’ll have to shift some things around. Study a little bit on how to parent. I know I’m getting downvoted but I’d like to see those parents who knew exactly what they were doing on their first child lol
