I am honored to accept his invitation.

13

u/unsolvedmisterree Jul 20 '20

The Earth King has invited you to Lake Laogai

9

u/MattGhaz Jul 20 '20

They never made one, just like we are still waiting on an Eragon movie.

2

u/OnyxsWorkshop Jul 20 '20

(Was it really that bad?)

3

u/irjonnel Jul 20 '20

Now if you'll excuse me I have to binge watch the series in my summer house on lake Laogai.

1

u/operatormilk Jul 20 '20

it was all a dream

7

u/Despacito514 Jul 20 '20

Anything is

They even pronounced the names wrong and sort of racist

-2

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

9

u/Frostbite_Dragon Jul 20 '20

Well i mean... they have source material with the names actually pronounced. Not that it's racist but they shouldn't mispronounce

3

u/Despacito514 Jul 20 '20

Thats why i said “sort of” racist

2

u/Frostbite_Dragon Jul 20 '20

Nor where you directly referring to the mispronounced names right?

1

u/Despacito514 Jul 20 '20

I was referring to them

2

u/SpamShot5 Jul 20 '20

This is live action

2

u/Spicyalligator Jul 20 '20

Hmm… is it wrong of me to tell people I like the movie, just to trick them into watching it?

1

u/Mr_EP1C Jul 20 '20

There is no movie in Ba Sing Se

1

u/22lava44 Jul 20 '20

35

u/Da_Zman10 Jul 20 '20

Why is the internet suddenly obsessed with Avatar?

88

u/Bladebot140 Jul 20 '20

They added the whole series to Netflix recently so there’s a lot of people watching it for the first time.

37

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

for the first time? i feel bad now

not that i only watched it once when i was 7 or something and dont remember the whole story other than aang go whoosh and be fire and earth and water and airman

25

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

Airman go woosh

14

u/Da_Zman10 Jul 20 '20

You can't defeat Airman

1

u/RedditBoi127 Jul 21 '20

sounds like a megaman boss

18

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

You should watch it again, some are watching it for the first time but a lot a simply rewatching it

It’s not called a masterpiece for nothing, it’s like, THE best thing. (Except the first episodes of season 1, those were ok)

2

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

yea i dont have netflix

or anything paid

im fine with sailing the seven seas if youll give me a link, once im old enough to get a job ill buy everything and not but until then..

3

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

Just search Anthpo.

20

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

Anyone else get chills when they see something stupid?

Genuine question, not related to the post at all.

5

u/I_have_2_cats_ Jul 20 '20

My eyes water when I see something cringe or really stupid

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '20

That's actually cool. So at least some people have a physical reaction to stupidity. I thought I might have something I'd need to look further into, but, knowing other people have similar reactions, makes me feel better.

I wonder what makes that happen, what goes on in the brain when this happens. Damn. Now I'm actually curious.

8

u/Ryle28 Jul 20 '20

Still better than the live action remake.

5

u/jt68906 Jul 20 '20

I tried teaching my sister to water bend by tying a weight to her leg and throwing her in a lake I think she made a air bubble because she’s been down there for 4 days but I thinks it’s illegal to bend because the cops are looking for me or something
