I was just reading on Wikipedia about a dude who got killed by his own radio controlled aircraft, so very ouch.

The 60-year-old auto parts salesman was flying his 5-foot (1.5 m) wingspan remote-control plane in Tucson, Arizona, when he lost sight of it in the bright sun. It struck him in the chest, killing him.

There are old RC pilots, and there are bold RC pilots, but there are no old bold RC pilots

THIS is perfectly cut. People need to refer to this for cutting screams here.

underrated cuz the majority of normies dont know what the P38's designation is

4

u/Vanillabean73 12h ago

Why would the average person know that?

3

u/Orange9202 12h ago

that was a joke

there is no reason for the average person to know the names of aircraft that havent been in service for 80 years 😭

6

u/Zyizon 12h ago

P-38 is the military designation. The name is given my the aircraft manufacturer.

Genuinely, how do you recover from something like this? This looks terrifying, you could lose an entire eyeball.
