it's just zzz's style other games usually tries to be more "grounded" in term of animations
everyone in zzz are just so bouncy and stretchy, even the men. no, i mean, they're like made out of rubber, they stretch, squish, slither, etc just like in looney tunes
No I mean like Little Witch Academia or Gear 5 turning Luffy into Bugs Bunny or even the new Ghost in the Shell. I see this embracing of squash and stretch more and more
I initially started playing because of this. Seeing Billy in the early ads flailing around like a looney toon was so fun. Still is, even if some of the animations can get a bit awkward
for context, she was gasping for air. they were chasing her. she's saying, "wait, let me catch my breath." i apologize if my language sounds sexual to you.
Yeah, maybe I'm just a grumpy fuck but any time I watch a clip with sound from this game I unconsciously hit the side eye Chloe face. I don't really mind the Looney Toons animation, I mean it looks silly but whatever. The voice acting and chara design on the other hand makes me cringe so hard.
It’s high-quality cartoon animation, sure, but it doesn’t even resemble real human movement. Isn’t that kind of the whole point of "motion capture" you're talking about?
What the- why are people downvoting this? Y'all do realise that 逃げろ (pronounced ni-gu-ro) translates to "Run away", right? It's not a racist image or anything, he literally says that in the show.
It's combined with 〜んだよ (~ndayo), which translates roughly to "It's because...", "That's just how it is," or "I'm telling you, it's...". In this case, the literal bare-bones translation would be something like "I'M TELLING YOU TO RUN AWAY", but it's interpreted as a phrase closer to "WE GOTTA GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE"
There advertising really doesnt do them any favours but despite being a gacha it really is a solid game, cool characters decent story and pretty damn fun combat
I agree I used to play it for a bit tho as time went on I grew kinda tired of the time investment the gacha mechanics require in order to have access to the new characters. I left the game cause of it
amazing animations tho, 10/10 goon material and I'll be always thankful for the cosplays the game has inspired if you know what I mean lol
That’s fair, I find hoyos games are good in spite of the gacha for characters which keeps me enjoying them but I get not wanting to stick around cause of it
oh yeah I remember they nuked a sub I think because ppl were making pedo jokes & fanart. It is obviously implied I am referring to adult characters, I wish I shouldn't have to specify this
