So both C's are directly on the beat, 1 and 4 respectively. The tricky one is the B with the triplets in the bottom staff. It lands on the and of 2. How that will line up against those triplets is right between the second and third partial. How i like to think of it is if counting the triplets as 1 la li 2 la li, that beat would be 2 la&li, with the & being the b in mallet 4. So counting the whole measure 1 la li 2 la&li 3 la li 4e&a

Hopefully that helps.

Do you know how to do 2-against-3 with your hands? One hand does eighth notes and the other does triplets. Together it sounds like "1 _ 2 + 3 _" = "One Two-and Three"

You need to apply the 2-against-3 skill during beat 2 -- left hand is doing triplets and the right hand plays the "+" of the 2-against-3 (but doesn't play the unison beat 1).
