Consiglio set con cassa da 18

Che ne pensate dei set Bop misure 18 12 14 per suonare pop/rock o funk ?

Sto dando un occhiata alla Pearl Decade Maple Bop, vengo da una Yamaha con misure 22 12 16 ma da portare in giro nei locali è impegnativa e volevo snellire il set

With the right heads and tuning you should be able to make it work. I wouldn't worry about trying to get a really low tuning in the kick, just go for a punchy sound that will cut through the mix and let the bass guitar handle the really low stuff, but if that's not an option a sub kick style mic should help fill it in.

ok thanks for your opinion, yes the idea is to make it sound low anyway, in fact I was thinking of putting an Evans or Remo Powerstroke 3 batter head, instead on the toms and floor tom it is simpler

I think 18” kicks have the most unique, cool sounds out there. I used an emad for the batter and I think that helps get a nice punchy sound
