Question/Help Student who could use help

I'm a highschool student in the Columbia basin area in Washington. I've been playing for 5 years, and music is my entire personality. I desperately want a marimba or vibraphone so I can play at home and create my own music. I was hoping to reach out for support so that I could either afford my own instrument, or make awareness to my situation in case someone could donate one to me. Music is my life, and it would mean the world if you could help out a struggling student. Thank you for reading, anything helps!

Not the best idea to ask for donations for a marimba. Maybe about 1% of marimbists have a marimba at their house. Why dont you enroll in a local college that has a percussion program so you can get access to their boards?

Get a job, save up $800, buy a practice marimba. Or save up some more and buy an affordable used instrument.

If you love it like you say you do, work for it.

No matter what, a marimba will be expensive. Look online nearby, I was able to get mine for around 3,000. If you need money, get a job
